First, we are going to talk about capos.

The small white object in my hand above is a capo. Below is your free internet guitar lesson on the capo. It is a very useful tool for your guitar.

The capo is for changing the tuning of a guitar without tuning it. To use it, place the capo on the fret line and then play chords in the position that you would normally use without the capo. The capo becomes the head of your guitar.

You can find capos at numerous music store. They cost from $15 to $25. There is a cheaper kind but it is harder to use than those that start out at around $15.

Now I will talk about guitar tuners.

There are different types of tuners. Electric tuners and a few others. The electric is actually a very easy method. Their price range can vary from $20 up to $60. They are not really electric, but are battery-powered.

There is not much to talk about on the subject of picks. There are thin picks, heavy picks, to extra heavy picks. Hold a pick by the round area. The type of pick you use depends on you and what you like.

There are a few types of picks that can affect your strumming. I have had picks fly out of my hand before and I have had picks fall into the hole of my guitar as well. It is not a very fun time rescuing them from the depths of your guitar.
